The advanced features in the Sales Order management module/workspace enables you to reach a 100% customer satisfaction. Such advanced features are as follows:

  • From Sales Order to Purchase Order

    • When a sales order is booked, and there is no stock available, a purchase order or purchase orders are booked with suppliers. This purchase order is tied to this sales order so that, when items arrive from the suppliers, those items are reserved for that sales order.

  • Quick release of a Sales Order

    • The quick release of a Sales Order enables you to quickly choose the best shipper, print a shipping label, automatically create a shipment for the Sales Order, automatically update the inventory, and automatically emails an invoice to the customer.

  • Order pickup

    • During this Covid pandemic, stores and warehouses enable customers to order their goods online and pick them up.  Acumatica handles this pickup transactions very nicely by creating a warehouse for the pick up station

    • This order pick up feature can also be used to manage the pickups by truck drivers at the warehouse.

From Sales Order to Purchase Order

The advanced feature "From Sales Order to Purchase Order" enables you to allocate a purchase order to a sales order so that, when the items arrive from the suppliers for that purchase order, those items are reserved for that sales order, and can be shipped immediately to the customer.
