Summary

Internet Customer Solutions, Inc. has designed and developed a webenabled Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System for manufacturers of business products. The CRM system consist of a public website where end customers can submit requests which become sales leads, an intranet site where your company employees can view the sales leads and send them to distributors/dealers, and an extranet site where distributors can see their sales leads, their supplier price catalog, their supplier marketing bulletins and demo and sale registrations. The diagram below illustrates in general the flow and the features of this CRM system.
 


More specifically the public website provides an online database driven product catalog, online ordering and features such as online requests for brochures, demonstrations, information, quotes, and technical support. These requests are sales leads. The intranet site is for your company employees, and enables them to view sales leads and to send them to distributors/dealers. The company employees can also send out announcements to their dealers and customers. They can approve demo and sales registrations that were submitted by the distributors /dealers. The extranet site is for distributors and/or dealers, and enables the distributors/dealers to view their customized supplier price catalog, the supplier marketing bulletins, and to register and view product demonstrations and sales registrations that earn them credits offered by the supplier.

This CRM system generates many sales leads with detailed product requirements for distributors/dealers, and makes sure that sales leads end up with the right distributor/dealer who then can get purchase credits by demonstrating the products and selling them. This closes the loop with the customer, and creates a very happy customer base.
