Two pricing models exist:
- The Fixed Pricing Model is where time estimates are made for the total development time of a web page, and total price estimate is given. This is the dominant model for most development work.
- The Time-and-Material Model is where an hourly fee is paid for each hour that is spent on the project. This model sometimes has to be applied when overtime has been agreed on and when time estimates are very difficult to make. Also, very complex development work may require this pricing model.
